I grew up building offensive security / penetration tools and translating vulnerability write-ups into Chinese as a kid. I've won Silver Medals in the National Olympiad of Informatics twice (middle & high school). Today I build fraud defenses for a platform processing $300B a year.

I've built ML systems and ad products at LinkedIn, led the engineering team as CTO at a venture-backed startup, and shipped a high-throughput ad-serving system at Comcast.

I've been meditating for 20 years. In my lifelong quest to find the true nature of reality, I've been drawn to old spiritual systems like Chinese metaphysics, yogic traditions, and alchemy. It scratches the same itch as security - lifting the veil and hacking what's behind.
